Featured Projects
The Agenda Mobile App Redesign
A startup cycle tracking app wanted to help women achieve optimal wellness through education and engagement. We set out to create an Insights feature and add gamification to achieve these goals through a full redesign with enhanced features.
I conducted prototype A/B tests and user interviews to test the new IA and content concepts. I also delivered an Accessibility playbook based on desk research and validated through user interviews.
Key Highlights:
Acted as sole researcher & research coordinator
Conducted iterative prototype tests through 3 concept rounds
Evaluated accessibility, information architecture, and concept
Compass Internal Work Management Software
In order to develop new software that would serve internal staff and replace a collection of other products, our team set out to document process flows across products.
Through ethnography and a diary study we made ecosystem maps that detailed each product in use. We diagramed internal communication and cross functional collaboration, customer interaction, time on task, and pain points.
Main areas of research included:
Generative research defined scope and specs for MVP
Ethnography in 6 cities
Virtually-conducted diary study
Compass B2B SaaS
Real Estate Agents and Agent Teams were the business customers in this project. Upon signing onto Compass, agents gained access to exclusive software to optimize their business that could be customized in a bespoke way for their unique needs.
When a segment of agents were observed to consistently fall short on using one of the functions of the software, this impacted internal staff teams whose performance metrics relied on customer collaboration. In order to improve task completion statistics, I conducted a 2 part study. I tested the UI as well as the context of where, when, how, and who that affected the user’s interaction with our product.
Key Highlights:
Acted as sole researcher & research coordinator
Moderated remote task-based usability testing
Conducted contextual inquiry
Validated hypothesis and remedied pain points
